Product Description
Subject to customer authorization by Linksys.The Linksys Wireless-G Router for Mobile Broadband is really three devices in one box. First, theres the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect both screaming fast Wireless-G (802.11g at 54Mbps) and Wireless-B (802.11b at 11Mbps) devices to the network. Second, it is a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together. Connect four PCs directly or attach more hubs and switches to create as big a network as you need. Thirdly, the Router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a mobile broadband Internet connection (requires a mobile broadband data card). Alternatively, you can also connect a cable or DSL modem to the Ethernet port and access the Internet via your available broadband service. Once your computers are connected to the Router and the Internet, they can communicate with each other too, sharing document files, a printer, storage space, and other resources.

We use one of these for tradeshows to connect multiple computers at the booth and can share the connection with our colleagues in other booths. When the wife and I travel, we can be on the internet on separate laptops. If a client is without internet for whatever reason, this can serve them for a short time days until they are back online.
It's easy to setup and with the firmware update never drops the connection to Sprint.

I run a public commuter bus service and we have installed about 20 of these linksys routers on our vehicles to provide free wireless web access to our customers. The Sprint cards work great with these routers, and the router can easily be set up with any browser. Recommended for anyone who needs a cell based web access solution.
